Adventure in Aellion Lands in Early Access

Adventure in Aellion Lands in Early Access

Charming Zelda-like Adventure in Aellion has finally made its Early Access debut, just a few short weeks after their initial plans. I’m very happy to see the team get into Early Access as I was left very impressed with the demo at EGX last year. Hit the break for a celebratory trailer and details of The Game Production Company’s upcoming plans.

As is typical with Early Access titles, the initial pricing (£9.99/$9.99) won’t stay so cheap forever , so if this blend of solo adventuring with co-op fun takes your eye, now might be a good time to take a closer look. The inital release contains a tutorial section, some aspects of the open world with two story dungeons to top things off. From my experience with the game last year, you’ll have a great time with the puzzles in the dungeons.

The team have a plan for the first few months of Early Access through the rest of 2020:

  • September: A brand new boss battle! Bug fixes, and additional combat techniques.
  • October: Playable area is expanded to include a new area called ‘Alitha Village’. Added lantern mechanics – such as use of fire and oil in and out of combat.
  • November: A new dungeon to be added called ‘Ameria Crypts’ – head out on a quest to stop the undead swarming Aellion and unlock a brand new magical weapon!

There are plans for Adventure in Aellion to be in Early Access for a year to two with further chunks of game world, dungeons and quests landing as them progress and respond to feedback. They’re very active on their Discord channel so you can be sure that your feedback will help shape the game moving forward.
