Sad news comes via Rock, Paper, Shotgun that PC Zone is saying farewell and closing down. Word has it that the next issue will be the last from a magazine that was founded back in 1993 and was once owned by Dennis Publishing before the take-over by Future in 2004.
Some of you may have noticed that our very own Steve Peacock have moved on up in the world and is the new Deputy Editor at Resolution. I would like to take this opportunity to wish Steve all the best in his new role and also to reassure all our readers that Steve will still make the occasional appearance here on The Reticule.
Tom Clancy is a weird fellow. For an author, the guy doesn’t actually do very much writing, having built up one hell of a reputation for his military detail and whatnot from back when he actually did write. Nowadays he makes money of selling his name to Ubisoft, and the crazy thing is that it works very well indeed.

The Digital Economy Bill has been passed, bugger. It should come as no surprise though that is was passed, in the so called ‘wash-up’ period before Parliament closes for the election run-in any bills that can get rushed through without full consideration do so.

Spring cleaner, and web designer Mike Pelletier came to the rescue and, after fighting off many spiders, he was able to create what you see now.
