It took me a while to get into Football Manager 2014 this year, but once I did, everything fell into place. I think part of the problem was that this year the game is perhaps lacking the one stand out feature that is an easy focal point of the game.
I’m a purist full-fat fan when it comes to Football Manager, I need the proper no-holds barred Career experience. I appreciate that the depth of this isn’t for everyone which is why I was pleased to see the introduction of the Classic mode in last years game. One of the most important aspects of any Football Manager game is the news system where you are bombarded with thousands of messages every season. The news system has been totally revamped for FM 2014 as you can see in the video below, and it looks bloody gorgeous.
