UEFA EURO 2012 – The Verdict

The bi-annual tournament release of FIFA is with us once more with UEFA EURO 2012, but unlike previous World Cup and European Championship releases from EA, this edition has been released as DLC rather than a full retail release. FIFA UEFA EURO 2012 Getting Digital Release

FIFA UEFA EURO 2012 Getting Digital Release

EA are known for releasing special tournament editions of FIFA when the World Cup and European Championships come around, but they are normally released at retail at a similar price point to the main FIFA titles. That isn’t happening this year as UEFA EURO 2012 is going to be released as a digital download for FIFA 12 at a price point of £15.99 on the PSN, 1800 MS Points and 2500 FIFA points on PC. The EURO 2012 expansion will feature all 53 UEFA member countries, so hopefully Wales will make an appearance. There will be qualification tournaments, an all new Expedition Mode and more. All I can say is that I am pleased to see this isn’t getting a full price retail release, these releases never seem worth it.
