I’m feeling a bit tired, I don’t know whether it is the expo, or that I have just come back from a few drinks down Leicester Square, but I am still looking forward to the last day of the Eurogamer Expo. Read on after the jump for a roundup of Days 2 and 3 of the expo.
So the first day of the Eurogamer Expo is over for me, I am back in my hotel waiting for my girlfriend to arrive before we have a day of sightseeing. No fear though, Michael will be at the event tomorrow to keep us up to date. Talking to Valve’s Chet Faliszek earlier today at the Eurogamer Expo, he revealed that the PC beta for Counter-Strike: Global offensive will be coming early October for people who have received keys at the event and for people from the pro gaming scene.. From there he says it will gradually roll up in scale until by years end when he hopes everybody will be able to play in the beta. Watch out for some detailed hand-on impressions of CS:GO along…
I am currently on a train on my way to London gearing up for the Eurogamer Expo. Three of us from The Reticule are attending Britain’s biggest games expo, and we will be interviewing some big names in the industry and playing titles like CS:GO and Battlefield 3. A few of us here at The Reticule are heading into London town in September for the Eurogamer Expo. While we are looking forward to getting to play some great games and (hopefully) interview some legendary developers, it also gives us the chance to meet up with some of you lovely readers who will also be attending the event.
A simple Google maps search reveals hundreds of different pubs in the vicinity of Earl’s Court, this poses something of a problem for a bunch of non-Londoners (and in my case and non-Englander) so we want some recommendations of where we should meet up for drinks and such like. If we get a large group of people together, we may even look to hire a room for the evening to keep our gaming-talk away from the normal people. We are thinking about drinks on either Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th September.
