The Technomancer – Gameplay Trailer

The Technomancer – Gameplay Trailer

If you’re looking forward to a holiday on Mars this year, and fancy something with a different pace to Doom, you might just want to check out The Technomancer, an upcoming RPG from Spiders and being published by Focus Home Interactive. Unless I am very much mistaken, The Technomancer is sharing the same universe as Mars: War Logs, a game which I thought was interesting, but rough around the edges when I reviewed it a few years ago. Mars: War Logs – The Verdict

Mars: War Logs – The Verdict

I love the lesser lights of the RPG genre as much as I enjoy the blockbuster titles. I adored Skyrim, while I also found plenty of joy in Kingdoms of Amalur. Mars: War Logs – Reveal Trailer

Mars: War Logs – Reveal Trailer

Mars: War Logs has been revealed today at Gamescom with this début trailer by French development team, Spiders. War Logs, due for release next year, is an RPG set on the Red Planet where you take control of Roy Temperance a century after a catastrophe sent the planet into chaos. There will be a real-time combat system, crafting and the chance to influence the fate of all the Mars colonies. Who knows whether it will be any good, but I am a sucker for games set on Mars so I will be keeping half an eye on this. Though I doubt it will quite match anything thrown up by NASA’s Curiosity rover currently exploring the Red Planet.
