Assassin’s Creed: Liberation The Verdict

Assassin’s Creed: Liberation The Verdict

If there is one thing you will need if you purchase Assassin’s Creed: Liberation, it will be patience. Patience to put up with some awful implementation of special Vita features such as the rear camera, motion sensitivity and even the touch screens. At heart, it is a pleasant take on the Assassin’s Creed series, complete with viewpoints to synchronise, weapons to buy and some Animus fluff.

LEGO Batman 2 – The Verdict

LEGO Batman 2 – The Verdict

It must be noted off the bat that I have been playing the PS Vita version of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, a bit of much needed context when you consider the rest of this Verdict.

I am gravely disappointed by this version of the game, I have dabbled very briefly with the PC version and I can see that the game on the PC and high-def consoles is quite impressive. But knowing what the Vita is capable of, I am left feeling disappointed by the handheld interpretation.

I slotted the dinky little game card into my Vita and watched the opening video with a smile plastered on face. The video shows the development of racing in the Wipeout canon from the point of view of the Feisar team with cars from the early 20th Century, present day Formula One style cars to early futuristic racing cars and finally, a glimpse at the racers from 2048.

Hit the jump for some early impressions.
