GTA V Gameplay Trailer Released

GTA V Gameplay Trailer Released

Rockstar and I are currently in the middle of a small domestic. Despite my adoration for all things GTA, the gaming giant is still refusing to tell me whether or not one of my favourite franchises is returning to the PC in the form of GTA V. Until I hear anything more positive on that front, I’m therefore temporarily forced to write about those console things instead.

E3 From the UK – Watch Dogs Trailer

E3 From the UK – Watch Dogs Trailer

I think Watch Dogs is going to be looked upon in a new light after the whole NSA spying on people scandal came out. Another note, there will be loads of trailers coming out from E3, we can’t keep up with them all, or even half of the news that will come out. As such, we will just pick up the bits that really capture our attention, and Watch Dogs is one of those games. Check out this new trailer after the break, it is all kinds of good.

HARDWARE Shipbreakers – Debut Gameplay Trailer

HARDWARE Shipbreakers – Debut Gameplay Trailer

Call me crazy (please do), but something about the new gameplay trailer for HARDWARE Shipbreakers reminded me of that classic FPS/RTS mash-up Battlezone. Something about not being set on Earth, the sounds of the radar and the voice overs made me think of the unique game. Back on track, after last weeks teaser trailer, this new video features some in-game footage with the UI and a little bit of action between some funky flying units and a squad of vehicles led by that massive Baserunner truck from last week. Check the video out after the break.

Company of Heroes 2 Trailer – Play it Before the Next Big FPS

Company of Heroes 2 Trailer – Play it Before the Next Big FPS

I did want to get back into the Beta for Company of Heroes 2 last weekend, but somewhere along the line, time got away from me. Probably because I was too busy playing Mars: War Logs. Despite that setback, it is still on my list of things to play more, and this latest trailer does the game justice and does a good job of explaining why we should be prepared to play this before the next big FPS. After all the hullabaloo last week around the Xbone, it is nice to experience some sanity with a true PC game like Company of Heroes. Trailer can be found after the break.

GRID 2 Celebrates Indy 500 Weekend With Trailer for Indy DLC/Pre-Order Bonus

GRID 2 Celebrates Indy 500 Weekend With Trailer for Indy DLC/Pre-Order Bonus

The Indy 500 is this weekend along with the Monte Carlo Grand Prix and the Champions League final. Only one of these major sporting events is coming to a game as DLC, that is the Indy 500 which will appear in GRID 2 either as DLC or pre-order content with amazon.co.uk. GAME has a Brands Hatch bonus offer while Steam is going with a pre-order rewards system. It all gets a bit confusing and frankly, to me it this retailer exclusive pre-order bonus content is a bit naff. That’s a rant for another time though as you can just sit back and dream of what might be as you watch an Indy car race around Indianapolis. Beware, GRID 2 isn’t indie.

Don’t Starve – Caves Update Out Now

Don’t Starve – Caves Update Out Now

When I talked to Kevin Forbes about Don’t Starve last week he didn’t want to ruin any surprises people might find within the Caves update. Never fear being spoiled in an interview though, you can now head underground and explore the new biome as all the cool kids call these things. It is early days with the update, Klei will be adding more to it over the next three or four smaller updates. You can read the update notes here and check out a trailer for the Caves after the break.

I Love Trucks – Hardware: Shipbreakers Trailer Rocks

I Love Trucks – Hardware: Shipbreakers Trailer Rocks

As I’ve been working through my backlog of emails this evening, I came across a message with the following title. “Homeworld Creators Release New Hardware Trailer: Look at the size of that TRUCK!” I totally ignored the majority of the title and thought “Oooooh, trucks, yay” and hastily headed over to the video linked within the message, a video you can see below the jump. It contains a truck, a monster of a truck, perhaps the biggest truck I’ve ever seen. It belongs to an upcoming RTS from some of the team behind the Homeworld games. Their new company, Blackbird Interactive is making something called HARDWARE: Shipbreakers and I am just a bit excited after watching the trailer.

New Star Trek Videos Explain Plot And Show Behind Scenes Footage

With the release of the new Star Trek game just a few days away, developers Digital Extremes have seen fit to release a couple of new videos. The first gives a little more insight into the actual plot of the game, the character backgrounds and the appearance of the Gorn. The second shows some behind the scenes footage of the actors recording their voice parts for the game.
