It is a Sunday, and that means it is time for another edition of Our Week in Games here at Reticule Towers. Earlier this week Steph wrote a great piece about the variety of Wii U controllers which will be something that comes into greater focus when Super Smash Bros. comes out closer to Christmas. GameCube pad, Wii U GamePad or Pro Controller? Choices choices.

While you ponder that, and decide whether you will be buying a Wii U, I want you to watch the video below from Matt Lees about Destiny. It clocks in at just over twenty-minutes, but it is a must watch for anyone who wonders about the mechanics in the game.

I was going to name this round-up ‘The Sim Game Catch Up’, but I thought that might scare people into thinking I was bringing news of some unknown expansions to The Sims 4. Fear not, as although EA will probably announce some expansions for The Sims soon, this news round-up is focused on a different kind of simulation game. I’ve touched on the upcoming work from Dovetail Games a few times in recent months as they transition towards releasing Train Simulator 2015, establishing links with Microsoft and their flight simulator games while also spreading their wings into the fishing game scene. It has been a big change in focus for a company who used to hone in solely on the Train Simulator franchise, and I wanted to find out more about what was going on.
