Welcome to Our Year in Games coming at you from Reticule Towers. I realise that we didn’t do any sort of yearly roundup for 2015, but we’re making up for it this year. I’ve invited a few old faces to take part in Our Year in Games, so hopefully you won’t just have me for company!

EXG 2015 – Day One Report

EXG 2015 – Day One Report

This year, the biggest annual gaming show in Britain has moved. No longer am I travelling down the M4 to visit EGX in Earl’s Court in London while staying in a rip-off hotel. This time, I have travelled up the M5 to the NEC in Birmingham while crashing with some family. Bit of a difference I must say, but it means that I can sit here on my netbook with a can of Strongbow and the New Zealand v Namibia match in the Rugby World Cup.

My visit this year will last until mid-afternoon Saturday. One reason for not doing the full four days is that I want to be back in Wales to watch Saturday’s massive World Cup fixture as Wales take on England. Now that I’ve bored you all to the high heavens with logistics and rugby, I’ll proceed with the my Day One report.

The Reticule (Not At) E3 – Nintendo Video Blowout

We might not be over in Los Angeles enjoying the E3 high-life, meeting and greeting or playing millions of unreleased games…instead we are here at Reticule Towers deciding to occasionally throw out a morsel of E3 goodness to our baying masses whenever we find something worth talking about. Or we are simply going to embed a bunch of trailers of games we find interesting before sharing some thoughts towards the end of the week.
