Sad news comes via Rock, Paper, Shotgun that PC Zone is saying farewell and closing down. Word has it that the next issue will be the last from a magazine that was founded back in 1993 and was once owned by Dennis Publishing before the take-over by Future in 2004.

I hold fond memories of Zone spending a week there back in the summer of 2008 on work experience. Working with writers such as Ed Zitron, Steve Hogarty and Jon ‘Log’ Blyth was a pleasure, and while some may have already left the mag, I wish all the staff the best in the future. I am sure they will land on their feet.
