I’ve been checking out Wulverblade as part of my desire to get stuck into some of the gems that are coming out on the Switch. I will be bringing you all my Verdict of this side-scrolling beat-em-up…just once I’ve managed to get past the second level. The game is a bit tough, but the good news is that developers Fully Illustrated are working on an easy mode!

While I might be struggling to get to grips with the game, it’s a little title that is full of character as you take charge of Scottish warrior Caradoc, fighting off the Roman Ninth Legion. There is plenty of real history intertwined in the story, in what is a beautifully crafted game.

Once the easy mode drops, I’ll be getting my teeth back into this. I’m inclined to recommen it from what I’ve played already, it really is a lot of fun.
